A Quick Update

I'm getting more and more excited about this trip to St. Lucia. Brandy Ramminger (the outreach leader) and I had a lengthy meeting today (which culminated with a phone-call to St. Lucia) and we are both so impressed with how things are coming together.

We spent time going over our teaching schedule for the boot-camp. The teaching time is so important because it helps the student to build a genuine & solid foundation on understanding of God. Some topics: Relationship with God, Holiness & Fear of the Lord, the Father Heart of God, Identity & Clean Conscience. They're all really practical.

As the time ended we talked with the Pastor who is hosting us. His name is Melvin Isildore. We'll be working with him doing evangelism during the day, spending time in his community and inviting people to the church in the evening where we'll be worshipping together, teaching and praying for one another. He is being so generous as to provide housing for us! We're very excited to see what was once a vague idea of an outreach come together to form something solid.
